Govermental Affairs

The Governmental Affairs area pulls together our region’s elected leaders from the local, state, and federal delegation to collaborate on issues and concerns that directly impact Greater Hattiesburg.  Elected officials find great benefit in consistent dialogue with local leaders prior to the beginning of their respective sessions.  It’s an opportunity for them to completely understand what the actual needs & concerns are and the varied resources available to address those needs.  This allows them to better facilitate the writing and possible passage of legislative bills that directly address those needs.
