Programs

The Area Development Partnership offers unique programs to help you and your employees become even more involved in the ADP and in the community.  While each program caters to a slightly different crowd, they are all focused on development for individuals and businesses.  Review a brief summary of each program below or click on the program of your choice by selecting from the list for additional information.

Leadership Pinebelt

Derived to cultivate twenty emerging leaders, class participants take part in a variety of classes and leadership training during the first part of the year.  Once they've completed their leadership training, the class is divided into three groups, each charged with the responsibility to develop and implement a project positively effecting Greater Hattiesburg.

Pine Belt Young Professionals

PBYP is a professional development and networking organization designed for individuals, age 20-40, employed full-time (or seeking full-time employment), who are looking to develop their professional career.

Professional Development Series

The Area Development Partnership and the University of Southern Mississippi’s Office of Professional Development and Educational Outreach have partnered to offer a series of professional development sessions geared to businesses that do not offer internal programs but who value additional training and the positive results that it produces within the workplace. Four sessions are held during the calendar year, each focusing on a different topic.
